Product Description Born into the fantastic world of Pixie Hollow, Tinker Bell thinks her fairy talent as a tinker isn't as special or important as the other fairies talents. But when Tink tries to change who she is, she creates nothing but disaster! With encouragement from her friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn and Iridessa, Tink learns the key to solving her problems lies in her unique tinker abilities and discovers that when she is true to herself, magical things can happen.
Amazon.com A vibrant look at the magical world of fairies and the wonder of the changing seasons, Tinker Bell is the captivating story of one of Disney's most beloved fairies. Pixie Hollow is a land where fairies constantly create and improve upon the beauty of the four seasons and prepare to bring the changing seasons to the mainland. When Tinker Bell is born, she discovers she is destined to be a Tinker fairy; one who invents gadgets to help fairies do their jobs more efficiently, but she is disappointed with her supporting role and yearns for a more impressive job. While her fellow fairies assure her that she plays a vital role in the arrival of spring, Tinker Bell shuns her calling and attempts to become something she's not. In the end, Tinker Bell's efforts cause a disaster that threatens to delay or even cancel the coming of spring and only inspiration and a firm belief in her own strengths can lead Tinker Bell to fulfill her destiny and save spring. This CGI product ion features truly breathtaking vividness and clarity, does a great job of portraying the world of nature from a fairy's perspective, and creates a nice sense of consistency between its final frames and the opening of the original Peter Pan film. Notable voice talent includes Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone. Other DVD bonus features include the interactive "Tinker Trainer" game, tour of the realms of Pixie Hollow, a look at how fairies put the wonder in the world around us, Selena Gomez's music video "Fly To Your Heart," and deleted scenes. Best Disney little girls movie I've seen yet January 9, 2009 My daughter got this for Christmas and has watched it by herself a couple of times. I finally sat down & watched it with her, and I have to say that 2nd to Cinderella this has to be the best Disney movie I've ever seen for little girls. Even for an adult, it was fun to watch and the message is wonderful -- be who you are. There are no scary parts or inapproprite things like so many other movies supposedly for little kids (we have yet to make it through any other Disney kids movie besides Cinderella because of a major scary element, such as the sea witch in LIttle Mermaid, Malificent in Sleeping Beauty, the witch in Snow White, the Beast in Beauty & the Beast). I hope Disney makes other movies to follow up on this, drawing on the great Disney Fairy books (also big faves in our house, including the audio books which are fantastic). I would give this 10 stars if I could. Get it!
TinkerBell January 9, 2009 My daughter enjoys the movie so much, we end up watching as a family! She takes our hands and drags us to the TV! The movie arrived promptly and in mint condition. I will make more purchases in the future because of this!
Love it January 8, 2009 My daughter is 2 and she loves watching Tinkerbell. I'm afraid we may have created a monster.
Gave as Gift January 8, 2009 My daughter is 27. Gave this in her Christmas Stocking. I believe she will always love these animated Disney movies. She said she watched it and really liked it.
As expected, my 5 year old daughter loves the movie. January 8, 2009 It's a cute movie and my 5 year old loves it. I wish there were more in the series.
